Liverpool’s Premier League record since selling Luis Suarez is not pretty

Brendan Rodgers will be concerned (Picture: Getty)
Liverpool fans always knew selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona would be a blow, but their league record this season shows exactly how badly they miss him.
After drawing 1-1 with Everton at Anfield today, in a game that they looked like they were set to win, they dropped more points in the title race.
And the stats from their first six matches of the Premier League campaign do not make pretty reading at all.
Played – 6
Won – 2
Drawn – 1
Lost – 3
Brendan Rodgers needs to be more concerned with the goals tally though, with Liverpool no longer outscoring their rivals, while they continue to let plenty in.
Goals for – 8
Goals against – 9
Ouch.
Perhaps it’s no wonder the club are looking at Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain to come and save their day.
