It’s been a busy few months for Lance Stephenson. First, in May, the 6’5″ guard helped lead the Indiana Pacers to the Eastern Conference Finals. Then, in July, he signed a $27 million contract with the Charlotte Hornets. And then on Monday (September 22), he dropped a video for his remix of Bobby Shmurda’s “Hot N—a.” That sounds like the way a normal NBA player’s summer goes, right? Well, maybe not exactly, but Lance isn’t your typical NBAer. Plus, he’s from Brooklyn, just like Bobby, so why not take a stab at the hit record? The audio for the track dropped back in August, and the New York native followed that up with a video where he’s kicking it with his boys, throwing sneakers in the air like it’s Shmurda’s hat, and — in case the Hornets were worried — putting up some jumpers in the gym. You may remember Lance from when Drake blew in his ear.
