The model-and-actress married the rapper last year. But earlier this week it was revealed she was filing for divorce, with reported plans to take full custody of their 19-month-old son Sebastian.
And TMZ is now reporting Wiz has challenged Amber's alleged bid for full parental rights over their child, in his response to her divorce filing.
Apparently the 27-year-old Black and Yellow hitmaker seeks to be awarded joint custodianship. According to the website he has a good chance of being successful in his pursuits due to family court procedures in the state of California.
'In California it's advantage Wiz because there's a presumption joint custody is in the best interests of a child and when a parent asks for sole custody it's often a sign of vengeance,' TMZ writes.
It's also claimed he doesn't contest his prenup with Amber, which sees her being awarded an estimated $1 million after their divorce. However, it's been reported that should the 30-year-old model accept this one-off payment, she'll be denied $5,000 per month in spousal support.
Since their split the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with speculation both she and Wiz cheated during their marriage.
However, Amber took to Twitter yesterday to give her side of the story, hinting only one of them had committed infidelity.
"Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this....." she wrote.
"Unfortunately my now ex husband can't say the same..
"I'm devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u for all the support in this difficult time. (sic)"
So far, Wiz has remained tight lipped on the matter.
