Apple iTunes is the latest outlet that offers the controversial movie
‘The Interview’ for rent or purchase. Cupertino is asking $5.99 for a
24-hour rental of the flick or $14.99 to own it.
Starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, ‘The Interview’ has been
available online since December 24.
YouTube, Google Play, and Xbox Live were the first to offer the film.
Furthermore, a word got out that the movie took home more than $15
million from online distribution. The aforementioned amount handily
beats the $2.8 million that ‘The Interview’ scored from its limited
theatrical release. It makes the film Sony’s number 1 online release to
date.
